CONFERENCE SUPPORT FUND
The Council has established a conference support fund for private and public organizations to access through an application process. For the current year, a maximum of $2,500 per conference has been established. Conferences must be directly related to the Council’s Mission and State Plan Goals. All requests shall be reviewed and approved or denied by the Executive Director. Requests for academic class instruction, another organization’s retreats, planning retreats, or in-house planning requests will not be considered.
Organizations requesting Council funds for a conference must make such a request at least 60 days before the conference date. Any request must be submitted on a Council Conference Funding Request Form and must include a copy of the draft conference program or agenda. The request form must be completed in full for consideration. The Council name must appear as a sponsor on all conference brochures, registration forms, etc.
